Welcome, All!
A new study series begins this week, and I’m looking forward to learning more from our author, John R. W. Stott, as we delve into his writing entitled, “The Radical Disciple.” I always enjoy book subtitles, as they give us a more explanatory description of what the book is about. The subtitle for this study is, “Some Neglected Aspects of Our Calling,” as you may observe in the introduction on page 5 of our workbook.
From the back cover, it states, “He opens up what it means at root to be a follower of Jesus, exploring eight serious, yet often neglected aspects of Christian discipleship.” Although we will only cover six of the eight aspects, I believe this will still be a quite adequate study for us to understand “how to follow Jesus is to let Him direct the agenda for our lives.”
